MASTERING MULTITASKING: If you find multitasking, well, taxing, you may have some help thanks to innovations in computing. A group of researchers at MIT, Indiana University and Tufts University last week unveiled an experimental brain sensor called Brainput that tracks neural activity, recognizes when users are multitasking, and responds by offloading work to other parts of the brain. It does require the use of a metal headband, which offers the additional benefit of giving off a cool superhero vibe. Full story...
